ptf for 5733LST (Sametime)

At one time I applied this ptf for Sametime

Funny thing is that this ptf was for 5769SS1 V4R4.  Not only is this ptf 
applied to 5733LST, but I am using V5R2 of OS/400.  I thought, which was 
wrong:  the IBM cover letter or the ptf?  IBM corrected me - my ptf index 
is corrupt.  Now, I don't know how that got loaded in the first place.

Get this:

IBM's suggestion is to:

try running the following command just be(fore) you IPL again: 
DLTF FILE(QUSRSYS/QAPZPTF*) 
It's important not run any PTF commands after running this command and 
not IPL'ing. 
You can also try slipping the LPP 5733LST. 
. 
If this does not correct the problem, we are going to have to get a 
remote to your system so the developer could look at this.


I am really concerned as to how this happened in the first place, but 
don't seem to be getting anywhere.

I know that we have not had the 5733LST version of Sametime since we were 
running V4R4.  As most of you know, we have a tendency to put on the 
latest release within a few months of it's release.

Can one even load a ptf to the wrong program product, let alone apply it?
