I have a user, (my boss), who is getting the error "Error updating local
ID file: The information in the supplied certificates from the Address
Book entry is out of date" about every other morning. Our help desk
person found a few links, but they were for R4. And of course, any
document referred by the searched document gives you a "Document not
Found" when you click on the link.

Like

which is:

which is:

Both of which refer me to document # 134699 or #143699. Which sounds like
a silly transposition, but neither works.

yes, we are dealing with multiple domains. R6 client, numerous servers on
R5 and R6.
