I believe the only concern is whether the combination of the Domino release
and the OS/400 release are supported together.  If your hardware will
support a supported OS, you should be good.  From what I see online, V5R1
is supported for Domino 6.5, so I would believe you are in good shape.  I
would still have a full system save before I pulled the trigger on the
upgrade, but I think you are safe.

We are going to upgrade from R5.0.12 to R6.5 on our AS/400 model 720
(which is running V5R1). I know that this is supported with the iSeries,
but we don't have an iSeries, ours is "just" an AS/400. 6.5 will run on
the OS version, should I worry that I don't have an iSeries, or am I
just paranoid?
