To be honest, I don't really recall my source(s) for the program.  I do a 
lot with APIs, so I probably found the API structures somewhere, then used 
brute force until I got it working the way I wanted.  Not very elegant, I 
know.  Sorry.  But it sure works great.  The way I have it written, if any 
of the Domino servers go into a state other that *STARTED, it sends a 
message to the on-duty and on-call operators.  It also puts a message on 
QSYSOPR.  We hardly ever have trouble with our e-mail / application 
servers.  It is usually one of the SameTime servers that fails.
