When I was in a similar situation (looking at windows-intended code and
wanting it to work on iSeries), I found that the compatibility information
in the function descriptions in Help had the answer. It's not quick, but
it was accurate. The only problem was that iSeries itself wasn't listed in
the R5 docs, so it took me a while to realize that since the iSeries port
of Domino code was based on another platform's Domino code, I had to
include that platform when I was looking. On that particular project, one
of the functions wasn't available in Unix, and that was the source of my
problems.

I would walk through that code example you found and see what the different
functions say in Help. Sorry I can't give you anything more
time-efficient. And maybe iSeries is listed in the current Help docs,
haven't been on ND6 long enough to need to look.

Once again I'm trying to figure out how to get a database signed so that
trust is established between two servers.

This time, however, it's with Domino 6.

I've found a example of how to sign a domino database using lotus script
on a windows server (DBDesign by Damien Katz of Iris Associates).

I need to find out if this type of functionality is available on Domino
6 on an iSeries.

Ideally I would like to do this using a Java program ... but if I have
to invoke an agent in Domino, that's acceptable too.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

david
