There is a download available of the beta version of iSeries Access for
Windows. It is available at:
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/access/windows/beta.html .

CAUTION!!!
If you like the feature under Application Development to deal with the
stray mutex's and semaphores that are often generated by Domino
applications then do not upgrade to this, (unless you can't live without
the other features).

IBM is stressing unicode, Java code, or ashcan. Evidently that part of
iSeries Navigator was neither unicode enabled, or written in Java. IBM
-thought- that only unix propeller heads was using that and that they
would prefer a green screen qshell method of finding this information.
Apparently they were unaware that numerous end users of Domino have to use
this function on occasion, (Alas. Alas, both that IBM thought this way,
and alas that Domino has these issues.). They are now aware of the errors
of their ways. No statement of direction about what, if anything, will be
done to put this function back in.
