I know I've had an identical or very similar problem before and found an 
IBM technote that described it but I can't find it now.  Can you copy the 
exact error message back to this list and I'll look again...

If it's the same problem it's definitely a client issue -- in our 
situation same mail file could be viewed on iNotes on one pc, could not be 
accessed from another pc -- same windows, same ie.  it revolved around 
some corruption in the ie cache.

This almost has to be a Windows 2003 server problem or Internet Explorer 
problem as I can get to INOTES from a desktop for the same mail file, just 

not from the Windows 2003 server via terminal server.
