Thanks Rob.

I think I found what I needed in chapter 9 of the Upgrading to Lotus Notes
and Domino 6 redbook.

We're using ScanMail 2.51 which does our attachment blocking - and that
sends a message to the recipient informing them that an attachment had
been blocked. When I upgrade to Domino 6.5.1 I will be installing Scanmail
2.6 SP1 which no longer does attachment blocking. Hence the need to
establish server mail rules to replace this function.

But in the Domino server mail rules, I don't see any similar function (at
least in this manual). We decided to configure it to not deliver the
message (which sends a non-delivery report to the sender), but the
recipient will never know if a valid source was trying to send them an
email that contained an attachment that we configured to be blocked (such
as a .pif, .zip, .bat etc....).

I also see in the manual (pg 46) that you can customize notification
failure messages, but the example shows setting them up on a D: drive (non
iSeries) and I was also wondering how to do it for an iSeries.

Regards, Jerry
