I know this is documented, that with 2.6 of ScanMail for Lotus Notes, that
to get the new scan engine's you have to give QNOTES *ALLOBJ.  But it's not
here in the smhelp.nsf, nor the readme file.

If you set your pattern file to update the scan engine also, and you do not
give QNOTES *ALLOBJ you will get this error with LOAD PUPDATE:
07/20/2004 14:13:22   Either creating or deleting a directory under the
destination directory was not successful, or there was a file access error
07/20/2004 14:13:41   ScanMail has successfully downloaded pattern file
version 1.943.00

But if you do give QNOTES *ALLOBJ then it will look like the following
instead:
> load pupdate
07/20/2004 14:21:00   ScanMail has successfully downloaded  Scan Engine
version 7.0-1011 for OS400.
07/20/2004 14:21:03   Your pattern file is up-to-date.
07/20/2004 14:21:03   Opened session for GDISYS01/DEKKO (Release 6.0.3)
07/20/2004 14:21:03   Closed session for GDISYS01/DEKKO|Databases
accessed:     1   Documents read:     0   Documents written:     1
07/20/2004 14:21:07   RepScan:  Using Scan Engine 7.000-1011
07/20/2004 14:21:14   MailScan: Using Scan Engine 7.000-1011
07/20/2004 14:21:15   MailScan: Using Scan Engine 7.000-1011
07/20/2004 14:21:15   MailScan: Using Scan Engine 7.000-1011
07/20/2004 14:21:15   MailScan: Using Scan Engine 7.000-1011

Any of you hackers figure out why the other error was generated?  Do we
really have to give QNOTES *ALLOBJ?

The funny thing is that I think I see a clue in a successful PUPDATE, but
no clues in an unsuccessful PUPDATE.  The clue is:
