That's an idea.  Now if I can remember where they stick the symbolic links 
to point to the programs...

Here's an idea from way out in left field:  Can you call a CL program in
the Notes.ini?  If you could, could you generate CL that would load 
tmmscan
and router with the desired parameters?

Just tossing it out -- you guys would the know feasibility of it better
than I.

How do I create a program document to tell the others to quit?  Or, do I
take both router and tmmscan completely out of the ServerTasks?  If that's
what I have to do for the short term then I guess I could go with that.  I
just get a little antsy knowing that when, (not IF), the server bounces,
I'll have to remember to manually load tmmscan and router.  Also after
system IPL time.

I've never attempted loading a task with parameters in the notes.ini.

Possibly, you could create a program document that runs soon after your
backup is completed... just an idea since it needs to be automated.
