Don't know what the blazes I was doing at the time, but I have a server
that's notes.ini looks like the following:
....+....1....+....2.
[Notes]
Directory=/INTERNOTES
KitType=2
...

Especially notice the Directory line.

Now, it also has the following directory
/INTERNOTES/NOTES/DATA
and underneath that are numerous templates, etc.

This server has one purpose, and one purpose only. That is to be our SMTP
server to connect to internet email. This server is called INTERNOTES01.
 Our primary email server is NOTES01. Email generally goes from NOTES01
to INTERNOTES01 to the internet and vice versa. There should be no user
databases on this server.

Don't know how this happened. This is what I plan on doing about it
though. I plan on downing the server. Backup and delete the directory
/NOTES and it's children. Start the server. Send a test email from
inside to an outside account, reply to the email. If it works, call it a
day and get a cold one.

Comments appreciated.
