The plain text field "location" is greyed out. My guess is it will not
send out a reschedule notice for
something as simple as changing the location plain text field.

Use the resource database and have users book rooms. There is an option
to add and delete resources.

The meeting will update.

subject: Domino Web Access 6.5.3 meeting location cannot be changed

Hello all,

Anybody recognizes this problem?
It is impossible to change the location of a meeting, using iNotes /
Domino Web Access.
In 5.0.11 it was possible to change the location, but you had to do a
reschedule also, for the invitees to receive the update.
In 5.0.12 Lotus Development deleted this functionality altogether, which
is still the case in the R6 releases.
Funny though, that the location can be changed with the Notes full client
and that it is correctly received by the invitees, using DWA.
We use Domino 6.5.3 on iSeries V5R2.

When we asked to make this available (or correct the bug, my viewpoint)
Lotus stated that we're the only client with this issue.
As if 20.000 DWA users do not count... Please respond if you have the same

problem. Thank you.

I'm assuming Chris is in Orlando this week? :-)

I was wondering what anyone has heard regarding ND7, iSeries GA, and
anything around some of the sister products - Quickplace, Sametime, etc.
Availability, enhancements, etc. Sounds like ND7 is running some pretty
tight code and can make some massive performance improvements.....

I've had it. Our parent company 'provides' our interface to Internet
based
email. There are two problems that are driving me nuts.

1.) Spam, I get more crap and they claim it's not a problem. FYI - IBM
provides a nice little service in this area but the 'rents' have ignored
my
forwarded emails. Since I don't want to do this manually is anyone aware
of a tool that allows you to analyze/quantify possible spam in a personal
Notes mailbox or even the mail.nsf file? You'd think that would be a
slick
tool to help sell anti-spam software and services...but I can't find one
yet. I was thinking that I could run something to quantify the volume of
spam and attempt to use that number.

2.) SLA. Our Internet based mail is routed through a connection in Paris
and responsiveness seems to fluctuate from seconds to hours. We still
maintain our 'illegal' domain mail server which I try not to use except
when the email absolutely positively needs to get to me. I'd like to be
able to quantify availability and responsiveness for our email servers.
Ours is Domino, the other is the virus propagator. Any thoughts?

The funny thing is the same procreator unit banned the access of personal
email accounts from work since they are a common source of virus problems.
Guess where I get 10x better anti-spam capabilities from?

Mike,

Check out
http://www.maysoft.com/web3.nsf/page/products-SpamSentinel-overview.
They have a personal version that's basically just an agent or two
and a new folder in your mailbox. I used it for a while before we got
a spam appliance (from Barracuda). Not bad. It puts the spam in a
spam filter, so you'll know exactly how much you're getting (and it
won't be in your inbox).

My apologies for hitting this list multiple times...seems that certain e
documents are being filtered by the 'rents' and I was not seeing
responses....just checked the archive and found them....
