Any administrators out there that can provide some insight, I'd appreciate
it. I turned on message tracking nearly a year ago on our production
server. I was concerned about possible impact on performance, but never
saw anything to worry about it and have really not given it another
thought.

The last week or so, I've been noticing slower performance on the server.
It appears that the MTC task (that's message tracking, right?) has gone
into a frenzy, using up to 70% of my CPU. I have noticed that the disk
usage has creeped up on me (about 7G after several months of being steady),
also, but I haven't determined the reason for that yet or whether it's
actually a cause for concern.

Any ideas why it would suddenly spike like this? It's been doing this
every day since I noticed it. Is there somewhere I can look to determine
what it is working on that would be keeping it so busy? To my knowledge,
nothing has changed on the server to cause this. I'm sure nothing has
changed in the configuration document for quite some time.

Thanks in advance,
