I got the primary problem resolved(mail to the same domain not being routed
via SMTP) -- our network guys were blocking the IP address of the
QuickPlace server from connecting to our SMTP server. Once that was opened
up, routing mail via SMTP works fine.

I still want to be able to route via Notes mail routing however but that's
a much lower priority.

Same Notes Named Network so that shouldn't be an issue

I have a connection doc for replication between the servers, I'll add mail
routing and see if that does the trick

We had the same issue. Set up a connection doc with mail routing to a
mailserver was the solution for us.

Re: QuickPlace and Domino mail routing

I set up QP for a trial last year. I seem to remember the same issue. I
cannot recall what I had to do - I believe it had something to do with my
Domino Named Network needing to be the same...
