You shouldn't have to wait for the server to bounce.  For the iSeries, the
command that Chris provided can be run from an iSeries command line.  Since
it appears that it wasn't in use before the upgrade, it should be no
problem.  For the Domino side, LDAP did not start so you should be able to
issue the Domino console command "load ldap" to start that and you should
be good to go.
