A few questions, some may seem silly, but anyway:

Is your NAB and admin4 replicating both ways?
Is the admin server of your NAB the same as the admin server of your
admin4.nsf?
On the DWA tab on the configuration docs, is 'Modification of Internet
Password' checked on both the iNotes server AND the admin server?

The Check password option in the person doc. should be turned off. If it
is turned on, it may even disable the use of the id file (using another,
not registered password), if you also have adjusted the server doc for
this option.
So either enable the user to change password in DWA, or enable consistent
passwords, thus let the user change the overall password through Notes
client.

With best regards,

Arjen ter Horst

subject: iNotes / DWA password setting problem

As an administrator, we can go in and set a person's internet password (in
their NAB record).

In iNotes / DWA, the user is supposed to be able to change their password.
It appears to work for 24-48 hours. - then it defaults back to the
password
put in by the administrator.

I've searched around - and added a group "iNotes users" to the ACL for the
NAB -- they are listed as a Person Group / Editor access - all roles
except
Policy Modifier / policy reader.

I have anomymous - no access , default - manager with no delete, no roles.

They are currently signing on using the "mailjump' page so I believe they
should be using the iNotes group authorities ---

My main iSeries is at 6.5.2 the server they are signing on to is at 6.5.3
for notes.

What am I missing / doing wrong???
