If the following is true, clear the directory.

1. No debug is currently enabled.
2. No server failures under review.
3. You have a backup of the data you plan to delete. (via weekly or 
monthly full saves)

I would advise to clean it up some. I think I mentioned back then that if 
you have gone through 2 planned server restarts since the last change date 

of the files that you should be able to clean those files out. Of course 
the administrator should know what the files are that will be deleted!
