Convert the mail file on the server using Load Convert to the old R5
template mail50.ntf and then convert it back to inotes6.ntf

That works.

I thought we were the only ones who would have to delete primary databases

and replicate back from the cluster... glad that worked. That was going to

be my next suggstion if the double design replace didn't work.

subject: Domino servers Starting............

I moved our Domino servers from our 800 to a 520 tonight, they seem to be
running fine.

Two issues which at this point don't seem to impact the servers:

1) Both our Sametime server and Quickplace server show Starting on the
WRKDOMSVR screen instead of Started. Any ideas what controls the status
on
the WRKDOMSVR screen ?

2) Doing a sh server on the new box shows a release of 6.5.4 -- on the
old
box this shows 6.5.4FP1. We do have PTF 5733L65/SI18786 loaded on the new
box, which I believe is the FP1 PTF. Any thoughts on why the FP1
disappeared ???

Thanks,
Bob

Here's a WAG. I recall seeing instructions never to permanently apply
ptf's for any Domino products. Something about you may need to uninstall
a ptf when installing (your domino add on product here) and reinstall the
ptf. Perhaps if you RMVPTF and reinstall it, you'll get the FP1 back?

I think there are conflicting service programs. Pretend there is a
service program called 'GOONY'. If you're running straight Domino then
you'll have one version of GOONY. However, if you're running Sametime in
addition to Domino, you'll have a different version of GOONY in the same
library. It's a chicken-and-egg thing.

Upon further research I think it was a "hotfix" vs "fix pack" issue.
