Walter,

Ok, so as far as Shared Mail goes........ do you use it? do you like it?
what kinds of problems should I expect?

The overhead of tlogs is about 3-8% Disk i/o.

I recomend 25MB of tlog for each mail user.

Re: Shared Mail

Walter,

So I just setup transaction logging with for the most part the defaults,
will that do? or should I change something based on your experiences? As
far as that what else should I look for? Is there going to be a big
administration overhead involved?

Thanks,

Last I used Shared Mail was back on release 4.6 and it was problematic
back
then -- I don't have any current knowledge of shared mail however.

I am planning on implementing Shared Mail due to the reckless email
tendencies of most of our users (sending out an email to all users with
large attachments). What I want to know is does anyone else use shared
mail? how is it working for you? are there any downfalls? It seems like a
total no brainer, but I have been burned before when I thought that.
Please
let me know if it is working great with no problems, or if it is an
administration nightmare.

Thanks,
