My gateway is not a relay, so I will remove the entry.  My MX record is 
not correct, so I will get my ISP to correct it first.  It is pointed at 
them.

If your internet gateway is NOT a mail relay server, just remove the entry 

from the configuration document.

Note: IF your firewall doesn't  allow port 25 traffic to flow your rules 
must be updated.

Note: if your MX record still points to the ISP it must be updated to 
point to your mail server.

Relay settings






Our ISP has requested that we no longer relay through their server.  At 
the current time we have their server IP address in the "relay host for 
messages leaving the local internet domain" under Message Settings.  To no 


longer relay, do we just remove that address, or do we replace it with our 


internet gateway?  The help says point it at the SMTP server, but that is 
what our Domino server already is correct?
