Thanks Walter - that's what I have experienced in the 6.x range. I would 
wake up the next morning and the Domino servers would just be hung...

Domino 7.01 FP1 and later supports V5R3 and later auto time change.

Prior releases require a Domino server restart for time changes. without 
a 
restart Performance can be less than appealing.
