We had to reinstall trend 3.0 after the upgrade and that is what support
will also tell you.

They also do not support multiversion on the same system with 3.0, and I
have not
been able to rig it to work.

subject: Upgrading Domino causes trend to fail

Upgraded Domino from 6.5.4 to 7.0.2. Also ran the UPGDOMSVR. Now when I
start them I am getting
Error attempting to load or run smdemf.pgm:
     Unable to locate program
Error attempting to load or run smdreal.pgm:
     Unable to locate program
Error attempting to load or run smdsch.pgm:
     Unable to locate program
Error attempting to load or run smdmon.pgm:
     Unable to locate program

I am assuming it some sort of symbolic link issue that needs to be
recreated for the newer domino library and/or directory. Guess it's time
to call support at Trend.
