Yuck Rob! Have fun with the IPL... :)

I think Vincent's intention was just asking if when the server crashed or
was taken down if the subsystem was also ended. I don't believe so, but it's
not a bad idea to do that.

ENDDOMSVR *IMMED does do an ENDSBS.

Caution. Not so pertinent on a Domino situation but in general I would
NOT try ENDSBS to end an impertinent job on an iSeries. Here's why:
Job in QBATCH won't end with ENDJOB.
Wait 10 minutes and try ENDJOBABN.
Still won't end so some moron tries ENDSBS *IMMED.
Of course, that won't kill the job. But now we can't do a STRSBS QBATCH
because it's still in the process of ending.
Now, an IPL that we hoped to put off until later becomes much more urgent.

Hi Chris

Did you try to stop the subsystem also (ENDSBS), not only the domino
server ?

A Domino server crashed and is back online fine. But WRKDOMSVR shows
that
it's in a *ENDED state. It's a 7.0.2 server on V5R3.

Thanks,
Chris
