I tried this for our mail archives. Used a directory link to /QNTC to
connect to a Windows 2003 share. Not hard to setup (create a QNOTES user
in Windows and match it to the AS/400 QNOTES password), and it worked
well, except....

Every once in a while we would loose the link. Then Domino would create
NEW archives in the IFS when compact -A would run. After manually merging
all those stupid mail archives two times, I ripped the link out and went
back to the IFS.

Subject
Adding disc

We have a domino server (windows) outside our firewall that replicates
with our iSeries server. It is running out of space, but we don't want
to go through adding all the security we put on our current server. Can
we set up a windows server with lots of disc and map it as a drive on our
current server? Is there a better way to add space without having to
rebuild our current box?

Also, is there a group like this for windows issues? TIA Bob
