Just a thought, I wonder is a host file entry will prevent it.

For example, if you wanted to block access to www.yahoo.com you would put

127.0.0.1 www.yahoo.com

so I'm wondering if you can put...

127.0.0.1 pop3.domain.com
127.0.0.1 stmp.domain.com

etc.

What it should do is point the address back to the computer making the
request (localhost). Just a thought!!!

Having said that, I have a plant manager who wants to restrict some of
his
users from being able to send, or receive, internet mail. They should be

able to send and receive from their own internal domain only. Possible?
If so, how?
