My first concern was even if I had a backup old enough to contain that
record. Luckily I did. Then I pretty much followed your instructions.
Some of the data was quite obsolete. Hopefully just unimportant stuff,
like, this hasn't been a 6.5.x server in a coon's age. Stuff like that is
what probably contributed to the "replication or save conflict' in the
first place.

Fired up the server and it looks like it's coming along. A few anomalies,
like:
[05194:00005-00000057] 12/05/2007 10:38:38 Informational, rebuilding
view - no container or index (reading /SAMETIME03/NOTES/DATA/names.nsf
view note Title:'($ExternalDomainNetworkAddresse')
and lots of other messages in this same genre: invalid collection header,
validation error, etc.
