Thanks for the reminder. I looked at the api document a while back and
could have sworn that program library was not there but it indeed is.
On this point I was wondering what people did with multiple releases and
Domino commands. I'm pretty picky about library qualifying any of my
domino commands and I'm wondering if that makes sense and what most
other people where doing.
Is it safest to use the version of the domino command that relates to
the version of the domino server? Or is it adequate to default to the
most current version of the command? QDOMINO654/SBMDOMCMD or just
SBMDOMCMD?
Historically I've not maintained that many different Domino versions but
am getting ready to start having a larger number of Domino versions.

Documents- Domino Release
Before discovering these API's I tried to access
/QIBM/UserData/LOTUS/LOTUS_SERVERS directly by using CPYFRMIMPF or
CPYFRMSTMF. And had something working. Then I put on V5R3 and the way
IBM went freaking nuts with CCSID stuff on those commands at V5R3 and
above blew those programs out of the water. If I was really loath to
use
the APIs (which I am not) then I'd use Scott Klements' tutorial on how
to
access the IFS versus the CPYFRM... commands.
