Here is the fix folks...

I don't recommend this often but this is what you need to do, edit your
LOTUS_SERVERS file to point to the right release.

/QIBM/UserData/LOTUS/LOTUS_SERVERS

It will look something like this for a server. You need to change the
library to QDOMINO703 and the exepath to /QIBM/PRODDATA/LOTUS/DOMINO703 and
the CURREL=7.0.3

SERVER=IPTDOM
TYPE=DOMINO
DIRECTORY=/domino/iptdom
SBSD=IPTDOM
PARTITION=1
LIBRARY=QDOMINO800
EXEPATH=/QIBM/PRODDATA/LOTUS/DOMINO800
CRTREL=7.0.2
CURREL=8.0.0
INFO=AUTOSTART=*NO;

I would take down the server and delete the busytime.nsf, letting it
rebuild when the server comes back up. You might also do fixup, updall on
the resource.nsf.

Hello all,

I was playing with Domino v8.0 to see if I can get some convergence
applications working on the new platform, but unfortunately the plug-in
software is not version 8.0 aware, so I have to move down to v7.03 of
Domino.

When attempting to configure my Domino v7.03 server I get the following
error:

Command CFGDOMSVR cannot be used on server KMRSYS515. The server is at an
incorrect release for this command.

Even though I did remove the v8.0 Domino server, apparently there was some
kind of footprint left on the server.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to overcome this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Rob Binetti

Domino for System i, supports multiple versions of Domino,

Assuming Domino 7.03 and Domino 8 are both installed to configure a Domino
7.03 server issue the command

qdomino703/cfgdomsvr

This will create a 703 Domino server instance.
