You can keep looking for an alternative, but you can also make your
iSeries multi-homed (more than one IP address, on the same physical
adapter or different ones) and tell Domino SMTP to use one IP and the
iSeries SMTP to use the other. Then you can both be on 25. We do it this
way because of an app that only works with SNDDST. Funny thing is that the
iSeries SMTP just hands off the e-mail to Domino. (I won't name the app,
but if it help shame the vendor into updating it to work with SMTP, the
company's logo is metallic robotic man!)
I don't have the commands to do this handy, but I think you can setup the
iSeries SMTP though i-whatever Navigator or a data area. The Domino
setting is either in the server doc or something in Notes ini. Do a little
searching.

I'm trying to use the SNDDST command to send email on the same iSeries
that is running our DOMINO server. Apparently the SNDDST command can only
work with the native iSeries SMTP server. Since the DOMINO server is
running SMTP I cannot run the native SMTP server because DOMINO uses the
same I.P. address as the iSeries. Does anyone know if there is a command
that can send email through the DOMNO SMTP server?
Thanks,
