I had to review my notes.ini file for my notes 8.0.1 client (the file on
my pc) and I see that there are numerous URLAddressX= entries (where X is
a sequential number), that contain http://...... entries.
One of them even had my notes/pc credentials and email address embedded
into it (without passwords)!
A few examples:
URLAddress6=
http://echo.bluehornet.com/ct/2410755:1252371954:m:1:21568978:B5801276F1272A821B40900693E7EA55
URLAddress8=
http://www.itjungle.com/fhg/fhg043008-story03.html
URLAddress9=
http://www.itjungle.com/fhg/fhg043008-story02.html
URLAddress10=
http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=899&uid=swg21087201
URLAddress11="context toolbar not found"
There are others that link to yahoo and youtube. Youtube is blocked by our
barracuda spam filter.
I know these are web addresses, but why are they in my notes.ini file? I
don't use the internal notes browser and I feel somewhat violated that
these are being updated on my pc without my knowledge.
Anyone have any ideas how/why these are there?
Regards, Jerry
