I was told by IBM that I needed to install Option 43 of 5722SS1 "Optional Fonts" then lastest CUME. So I did.

After this I had to remove the Sametime Server RMVLSTDOM and then add back again.

Although I don't doubt the wisdom if the IBMers, as they have helped so many times in the past, I find it hard to believe that Opt 43 could cause this even though after adding it my ST installation is ok. I think maybe removing ST and adding again might have more to do with it. But I could be wrong.

One more thing that could have solved the problem. The ADDLSTDOM failed a number of times and the solution was to add 'Sametime Development/Lotus Notes
Companion Products' to the 'Full Access Administrators' and 'Administrators' Security fields of the Server Document in the Security section.

Might help someone.

Thanks

Nathan

Hi,

Have upgraded to Sametime 8.0.2 Standard from Sametime 8.0.1 Standard on our V5R4 machine running Domino 8.0.2. Used the RSTLICPGM method.

The upgrade appeared to complete ok but now when I look at the web UI http://sametimeserver/stcenter.nsf?open it says I can download the Sametime Client 7.5.1 and it has links to the 7.5.1 SDK.

Also when trying to download the mobile client it doesn't make mention of the new support for the Blackberry 9000.

Anyone else upgraded to Sametime 8.0.2?

If I installed another ST server and copied across the STCENTER.NSF could that work? If so would any 8.0.2 STCENTER.NSF do? Does anyone have a copy of this file I can try? Could they email to nathanjs at bigpond dot net dot au

Thanks

Nathan
