I was thinking that the DB2 application could take the Dr.'s appointment,
format it's own iCal document and ship it off to the Dr's email. He could
then accept the scheduling via email. I think there's an option to auto
accept calendar request entries. Hopefully you can target the requestor.

I knew it was pretty simple between Domino and Exchange. No configuration
needed. I was wondering how tricky it would be for a decent RPG
programmer to format an iCal document, if they already know how to use
IBM's api to generate email (QTmmSendMail).
