When you archive a mail file you will get two additional files. Depending
on your naming conventions one may be named a_jsmith.nsf and one may be
named l_jsmith.nsf. The former is the actual archive and the latter is a
log of when archiving was done. I've discovered that the log files can
vary in size from 166MB on down. If I open the largest one it only has 83
records. We've been archiving weekly for 83 weeks now. Each document is
only 252 bytes. So I can't begin to fathom why the database size is
166MB. Granted, there's overhead for the design, but shouldn't the design
average out on all the l_*.nsf files?
