I was almost ready to pull the trigger on my first "compact -a -B" this
weekend, but then noticed my DASD is at 70%.
I figured that with over 400 mail files and each archive minimum being
around 10MB that I may want to reconsider archiving all mail and all
databases.
So the question is will a "compact -a -B" actually archive every data base
on the server? And if so is there any way to enable selective archiving?
I'm thinking of setting up program documents to do this but was wondering
if there is an easier way.
Thanks!
