You'll have to add this person to the Server Document's field on the
security tab to allow her to create replicas on the server. This can be a
quick, temporary setting and shouldn't require a restart - maybe just wait 5
minutes after making the change.

Hi Chris,

Awhile back you gave me some direction:

"I would use their local archive and create a replica of it on the archive
server in the proper path. Then once you initiate server archiving the
user
will already have a local replica of the archive and would pull it down
from
the archive server and be very happy... :)"

I tried to do this but while working at the user's pc, when I try to
create the replica of the client archive on the server, I get a message
stating 'you are not authorized to perform that operation'.

So I went to my admin client, manage ACL, and ended up giving that one
user manager rights to every file in the archive. I still got the 'not
authorized' message. I then revoked her rights to the files in the
archive.

I'm stumped.

I'm guessing she does not have access to the archive folder on the server.

How do I give her the authority (this one time) to create a replica of her
client archive on the server?

Regards, Jerry
