My events4.nsf has this Server and Add In Task event (created by someone
at IBM)
Original Text: <procid:threadid> SMTPClient: <string>

So, when I get a hit like this:
[526345:00629:00031-0000001E] SMTPClient: ReceiveResponse: 220
mailsrv1.vendoco.com ESMTP Service (Lotus Domino Release 8.5.1) ready at
Tue, 22 Mar 2011 09:51:12 -0500

Why should I care? What actions should I take?

It concerns me because we recently discovered an entry in our Cisco Pix
firewall that affected ESMTP entries that we turned off because of email
issues. With that on, I stopped getting any new email from any list
hosted by midrange.com - only replies. This had been going on for months.
Sure helped when some HR mucky muck was affected (same thing - only
received replies from a fund and not new emails) and now the network staff
fixed it.
