Thanks Patrick - that sort of makes sense except the panel prompts you for
MB and not individual bytes. Using 2,621,440 would probably exceed the
total storage on the entire system it I asked for that number in
megabytes.

Walter - I tried your suggestion and it still only shows 2.4 gb. No
problem as the user asked if she could move some recent stuff to her
archive. We currently have a 2 year archive policy (all email over two
years old gets archived).

I do have one user who has a 90 day policy, and I was wondering if I
changed this large mail file user to use the 90 day policy, would she end
up with two different archive files - one for the 90 day archive and one
for her (pre-existing) two year archive? My suspicion is yes.

Or could I create a new 90 day archive policy and in the archive criteria
settings specify the same archive prefix as the one used by the two year.
Then assign the new archive policy with the hope that email over 90 days
old would go into the same archive used for the two year archive.
