The main reason I hear people wanting to run the Connect Client instead of
the embedded Client is that some tasks in Notes can run and will lock your
Notes Client so that you won't be able to chat as well. As far as
functionality, there isn't much difference. Of course with the embedded
client you get presence awareness for Notes Documents and Views.

Is there a comparison of the various Sametime IM clients? For example does
anyone compare these three methods of Instant Messaging:
- Sametime Connect Client
- Sametime IM imbedded in the Notes Client
- Browser based Sametime IM

Would there be any reason why someone running Notes client 8.5.3 want to
use the Sametime Connect Client instead of the one imbedded into the Notes
client?
