The problem with having the database link specified, if that server is not
available, then directory assistance no longer works. If you specify * as
the server name and then the name of the database in the Address Book
Filename, then any servers that has a replica of that database will be
able to use directory assistance regardless of any other servers being
available.

I can't seem to find my download from COMMON on what the evil was with
using a database link in the directory assistance database (da.nsf) and
what the alternative suggested was. The database link points to
ExtLdap.nsf on LDAP01.
