At one time I had an issue where our Domino SMTP server was not sending to
certain domains. Turned out that if the domain had multiple MX records,
and the first one was down, then Domino didn't go further down the list.
With several domains never bringing up their first MX record this was
causing us issues. (Apparently many spammers follow Domino's lead and
only check the first MX record, hence why some domains turn it off.)

Has this behavior changed with more current releases and fix packs?

Our workaround was to route everything through Message Labs.

However, twice lately Message Labs had some serious delays. Like taking
an hour to route email. The first time they actually put a bulletin on
their website that they were experiencing delays. Didn't check the second
time.
