Serving up multiple Domino (and internet) domains from one domino smtp server.

let's say I have two Domino domains: DOMAIN1 and DOMAIN2
On the internet they are domain1.com and domain2.com
domain1 has been out there for a long time. email to smedly@xxxxxxxxxxx
has been arriving for a long time.
We had two domino servers: DOMMAIL/DOMAIN1 and DOMSMTP/DOMAIN1. We had
SMTP running on DOMSMTP. Email to smedly@xxxxxxxxxxx hits DOMSMTP and
then goes into DOMMAIL to his mail file.
I would like to create a new domain: DOMAIN2. I would like to create a
new domino server DOMMAIL2/DOMAIN2.
When someone sends email to someone at domain2 I would like to continue to
use DOMSMTP/DOMAIN1 and then it decide whether to route it to
DOMMAIL/DOMAIN1 or DOMMAIL2/DOMAIN2.
How do I do that?
And, a long time ago I remember configuring the system to check for valid
email addresses but I forget where that was. For example, if some spammer
sends email to purchasing@xxxxxxxxxxx (which doesn't exist) it used to sit
there in our mail*.box files on DOMSMTP/DOMAIN1 and clog it up bringing
performance to it's knees. Once I made that setting it no longer
occurred. Where is that? I want to ensure that isn't blocking our new
domain either.
