Back in the past when we had Domino companion products, such as Quickr and
Sametime, running on IBM i it was considered bad form to apply Domino PTFs
permanently since the install instructions for some of these actually had
you remove the PTF's and reapply them.

Is this still the case?

Does it matter, if you're not using any of these companion products?
