Yes this has to do with CCSIDs. On your cpytostmf, specify code page 819. David Wall AS/400 Toolbox for Java Christian.J.Conroy@sb.com on 06/01/2000 02:56:14 PM Please respond to JAVA400-L@midrange.com To: JAVA400-L@midrange.com cc: Subject: CPYTOSTMF Hi, I'm using SEU to enter java source (not recommended, I know, but stay with me ...) The CCSID of my source pf is 37, and when I do a CPYTOSTMF with *PCASCII, and run javac in Qshell, it fails to recognise ']' as a valid character from my source. Does this have anything to do with CCSID's, and if so, what should the value be?
