Maybe it's only for the first Java program that is run under QShell that is taking so much time, the following programs must be faster even more if you have all the available PTFs installed. The other way to reduced the execution time is to crt an associated Java pgm with the CRTJVAPGM command which creates an invisible program that is a translation of the Java binairy code to AS400 binairy code. To optimize the execution, you must specify a value at the OPTIMIZE parameter. From then you will be able to run the interpreted Java pgm with the RUNJVA command. hope this help Pascal Bellerose -----Message d'origine----- De : vijayakumar purushothaman [mailto:p_vijayakumar@hotmail.com] Envoye : mardi 6 juin 2000 06:27 A : JAVA400-L@midrange.com Objet : A performance issue.
