Hi friends! i have two problems when i execute a query on a physical file which has around 120 fields on the AS400. 1. java.sql.SQLException: Descriptor index not valid. java.lang.Throwable(java.lang.String) java.lang.Exception(java.lang.String) java.sql.SQLException(java.lang.String, java.lang.String, int) i get this exception when i query. 2 in another query execution i get a SQLException : column you are trying is undefined. both the queries are executed from a servlet on the IBM Test Environment. even though the same query is working fine when i execute it from a normal java application. Third question is can we execute sql statements on a logical file? plz the solutions are urgent. Thnx in advance. +--- | This is the JAVA/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to JAVA400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JAVA400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JAVA400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: joe@zappie.net +---
