I'm trying to test a Java Server Page using Visual Age for Java 3.5 and SQL
Server. When the Websphere test environment tries to compile the page I get
back an error that the page cannot compile because of
"com.sun.jsp.JspException: Unable to compile class for JSP: null". I've
already been able to connect to SQL Server using a Servlet. I'm able to
execute other JSP 1.0 non-database server pages. Any ideas on how to debug
this problem or how to get this to work on Visual Age for Java 3.5 before I
move the code to the AS/400?
The following is the page that I'm trying to compile/execute:
<HTML>
<HEAD><TITLE>Call Servlet</TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY>
<H1>Department Listing with a JSP and TSX tags </H1>
<tsx:dbconnect id="conn"
        userid="sa" passwd=""
        url="jdbc:odbc:LocalServer"
        driver="sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver">
</tsx:dbconnect>
<h2>After DB Connect</h2>
<tsx:dbquery id="users" connection="conn">
        SELECT name FROM USERS ;
</tsx:dbquery>
<h2>After SQL Statement</h2>
<tsx:repeat index="empidx">
    <tsx:getProperty name="EmpID" property="USUSID" />
</tsx:repeat>
</BODY>
</HTML>
