We are currently running Websphere 3.5.2 on our newly christened "iseries" V4R5. The default server is set up,and running smoothly, but when we try to create a separate server (for a specific application) and the corresponding servlet engine, the administrative console returns an error. Here's what happens: 1. Right-click on the node and choose "Create -> Application Server" (this works fine) 2. Right-click on the newly created server and choose "Create -> Servlet Engine" 3. Provide the servlet engine dialog box with the name of the servlet engine and the name of the application server (which defaults to the name of the one I just created in step 1). 4. Click OK. The administrative console responds with an error message: Exception: com.ibm.ejs.sm.client.command.ExecutionException: Error during create. at com.ibm.ejs.sm.client.RepositoryOpException.<init>(RepositoryOpException.jav a:51) at com.ibm.ejs.sm.client.command.ExecutionException.<init>(ExecutionException.j ava:63) at com.ibm.ejs.sm.client.command.CreateCommand.execute(CreateCommand.java:105) at com.ibm.ejs.sm.client.command.CommandManager$ExecutionThread.run(CommandMana ger.java:264) at com.ibm.ejs.sm.client.command.ThreadPool$PooledThread.run(ThreadPool.java(Co mpiled Code)) Has anyone seen this or had this problem before? The error message is not very descriptive.
