I have written a Java application that uses the JTOPEN FTP object to pull
files from several servers. Two of the servers frequently (nearly always)
fail when I attempt to place files on them. I say the servers fail, but FTP
fails to place the files there. I have found that if I turn trace on that I
am successfull writing to those servers.
Has anyone else run into this? Has the problem been identified?
I am using JTOPEN 2.0.
The failures that I see are one of two kinds. I see a java.io.IOException
or a java.net.SocketException: Connection aborted by peer. Any suggestions
would be much appreciated.
This appears to me to be one of those really nasty timing issues.
Thanks,
