Ross,
There is a jspc.sh script that should work. I haven't tried it on 
the iSeries, but all it is doing is invoking the Jasper compiler 
against your JSP source pages. This will still not do a native 
compile, which can be accomplished in that script if that is what 
you are after using something like:
system "CRTJVAPGM CLSF(''"$class"'') OPTIMIZE(40)"

will
pre-compile the JSP pages in a directory.  Does this exist on the
iSeries
version?
