That's one of the unfortunate aspects of WebFacing - it creates two JSPs (and three other beans) for every record format. The good news is that you only have to touch them once. I think there's a JSP compiler . Unless, of course, you change the program, at which point I guess you have to touch them all again. I seem to remember a setting in WebSphere when you install an application for it to precompile the JSPs. Joe
